3.2.137 staff-ellipsis-interface

A visual marker (usually three consecutive dots) to indicate that typesetting of music is skipped.

User-settable properties:

ellipsis-direction (direction)

The function of a StaffEllipsis in its context: START where typesetting was never previously enabled, CENTER where there some typeset material precedes and follows, and STOP where typesetting is being disabled for the last time.
